What are the disadvantages of fraternity?

Some claim that that most, if not all, of the disputes among students in campuses (e.g. gang wars) are fraternity or sorority related. This therefore leads us to the discussion on whether ‘belongingness’ or ‘violence’ is the term that best fits fraternities and sororities.
