Socrates

Although Augustine of Hippo (354—430 C.E.) lived more than 800 years after Plato, Platonism deeply influenced his philosophy. On the other hand, another medieval philosopher Thomas Aquinas (1225-1274) revived, enhanced, and ‘Christianized’ Aristotle’s ideologies. There is thus this prevalent discussion on who the better philosopher is, Plato or Aristotle.
