How to really deal with acne
Increased production of hormones that stimulate the secretion of an oily substance (called sebum) in the skin causes acne. Many teenagers suffer from acne to some degree.
How to deal with mild acne
-Maintain cleanliness.
Keep hands away from the face.
To help prevent the accumulation of oils in the face, wash it twice a day with an unscented or medicated soap, and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Avoid too frequent washing of face (for it may irritate the skin).
Teens may use medicated cosmetics or none at all.
Expert-prescribed creams and ointments (like those containing benzoyl peroxide) may be used, but must be stopped if it causes unnecessary dryness or chapping.
Avoid any food that seems to worsen acne in you.
How to deal with severe acne
If you have severe and persistent cases of acne, see your doctor.
